Location: Whittier Elementary School, Kansas City, MO
Project: Each MLK Day, we donate our time with City Year to create an inspirational mural inside of a school or community center as a part of City Year's annual large-scale community service project in honor of Dr. King's legacy. This year's theme was an adaptation of a quote by John Lewis incorporated with the school’s mascot and lion pride scene.
