The Valorem expansion space was completed in the spring of 2015. The Blkbrd achitecture and design team had the artistic vision for the space and gave me a multi-surface challange to paint on. The walnut wood backsplash was fun to work on. The tranclucent effect of the spray paint over the wood and letting the grain show through was really cool. The side wall of drywall was straight forward and was a great surface for some shard work. The glass window and door with a combination hexagon stencil spray paint pattern on the inside and frosted vinyl shard design on the outside has the most unique view. The lighting in the office affects the shadows cast by the hexagon pattern in the hallway and how they look more transparent from the outside of office and more opague from the inside. There was a lot going on in this job with all the different surfaces and details. Can't wait for the next one.
