Local Kansas City icon and friend James "J-Wizz" Hathorn was surprised by this mural reveal in the River Market area of downtown KC. It was fun to honor such a vibrant personality and showcase the everyday person in a stylized, larger-than-life mural.
This mural was produced over the course of a few months from 2019-2020 and finished in April 2020 during the Covid19 pandemic and as a partnership with MoDot.
