The Chapel at Crittenton Children’s Center was in need for an update and I got the chance to meet with a group of residents to gather inspiration and hear their stories.
The ideas shared in this meeting were used to influence the design in the mural. Aspects of the design, like the strength of a lion, the calmness of the lamb, the reaching hands, inclusivity and images of peace, showed elements that have significance to the lives of the residents and staff of Crittenton.
The residents now have an updated space to nurture their spiritual wellness and build better connections with each other and a higher power.
