Professional muralist, Phil Shafer, joins City Year Kansas City for their Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service at Central High School on January 16th, 2017. Each MLK Day, Shafer donates his time with City Year to create an inspirational mural inside of a school or community center as a part of City Year's annual large-scale community service project in honor of Dr. King's legacy. The theme of this past year's mural is reflective of the slogan of Central High School, "I WILL. I CAN. I AM."
